Paula Deen Network Sets Launch Date, Prices
A month after announcing the launch of an all-new subscription VOD network centering on the famous food personality, Paula Deen Ventures has a launch date as well as pricing plans. The Paula Deen Network will go live on September 24.
Subscriptions will range from $7.99 per month for a 12-month commitment to $9.99 per month for a month-to-month membership. All memberships include an initial 14-day free trial to the network.
As previously announced, production on programming for the network already began in May in Deen’s new studio in Savannah, Georgia. Content will span multiple formats, from short-form to long-form, recipe videos to reality shows, and will also include non-cooking lifestyle segments. Some of the programming will be themed to particular days of the week — for instance, “Leftover Mondays” and “Taco Tuesdays.”
Deen’s longtime producer Gordon Elliott, who executive produces her live tour and is the creator of ABC’s “The Chew,” is on board as executive producer for the Paula Deen Network.
