PBS Content Now Available on Amazon Fire TV
PBS has come to Amazon Fire TV in the United States. Ranging from full episodes to shorter clips, PBS and PBS Kids content is available on demand for those with the connected-TV service.
The PBS app for Amazon Fire TV offers new and old footage from the network, as well as various local content produced by member stations, which will be added to the app on a daily basis. TV series available for viewing on the app include favorites such as “Antiques Roadshow,” “Frontline,” and “Masterpiece Theater.”
For those interested in the network’s original digital content, which is produced via its PBS Digital Studios arm, that content will also be accessible via the app.
The PBS Kids app, meanwhile, will include episodes of shows like “Dinosaur Train,” “Arthur,” and “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.”
PBS has over 350 member stations nationwide. The network’s digital children’s platform, pbskids.org, has won a Webby Award.Tags: Amazon, amazon fire tv, pbs, PBS Digital Studios, PBS Kids, webby awards
