PewDiePie to Guest Star in Upcoming Episode of ‘Smosh Babies’

/ Sep 16, 2013

In the event that you’ve been catching up on Shut Up Cartoons’ animated series “Smosh Babies,” then you’ve probably noticed that the show features more than a few guest voices. Very much in the style of “The Annoying Orange,” several of YouTube’s finest have already lent their vocals to the Smosh-tastic animated show. With season one of “Smosh Babies” coming to an end, it seems the good folks at Smosh have saved their biggest guest appearance for last.

According to Smosh, upcoming “Smosh Babies” episode “Ian’s Long Lost Love,” will feature a guest appearance by YouTube’s most-subscribed creator PewDiePie. The episode, which will focus on a young Hecox losing his favorite toy and the resulting fallout, will introduce an animated version of PewDiePie who, of course, will voice himself.

Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg (PewDiePie) recently became the most subscribed creator on YouTube surpassing Smosh for the number one spot. Currently, the PewDiePie channel has over 13 million subscribers. Smosh, who hold the number two spot, have yet to hit the 13 million mark, yet unlike Kjellberg, Smosh have various different channels and shows (e.g. Shut Up Cartoons), which naturally makes their subscriber numbers less centralized than a creator who has just one channel.

“Smosh Babies” airs exclusively on the Shut Up Cartoons YouTube channel at 3 p.m. EST every Monday.
