Pixability Announces UberTube 2014 to Teach Brands What to Do on YouTube

Many brands are still trying to figure out how to be successful on YouTube. To help them, Pixability, a software company that specializes in YouTube marketing, is producing the UberTube 2014 Brand Summit, an independent event that will take place on April 29 in New York, to coincide with the third annual Digital Content Newfronts.

The event is headlined by Lucas Watson, VP of brand solutions at Google, who will deliver a morning keynote. “As YouTube now reaches more 18-34 year-olds than any cable TV network in the United States, we’re thrilled that Pixability is helping brands design stronger strategies to participate in the YouTube community,” said Watson in a statement.

Other speakers include Bob Garfield, host of NPR’s “On the Media” and editor-at-large at MediaPost, as well as NBA-star-turned-agency-exec Jamal Mashburn and Jonathan Sackett.

This deep dive into YouTube data and insights will cover topics such as why independent creators are better than brands at building audiences, why traditional ad strategies don’t really work on YouTube, navigating the array of YouTube ad options, how to integrate YouTube with TV campaigns, and ad allocation strategies for MCNs and independent creators.

“The need for a brand-centric discussion on YouTube strategy and execution was long overdue, so we decided to bring together the top brand marketers on YouTube,” said Bettina Hein, founder and CEO of Pixability, in a statement. “This summit is about delivering performance and helping the world’s top brands get the most out of their YouTube and Digital Newfronts commitments.”

UberTube 2014 will be held at the Gansevoort Park Avenue Hotel. VideoInk is a media partner for the event.
