‘Prank It FWD’ Keeps on Giving This Holiday Season

Break.com’s “Prank It FWD” is back in time for the holidays, this time rewarding a hardworking housekeeper. The series returns with original content from creators including Smosh, Greg Benson, JSTUStudios, Tom Mabe, and LAHWF, all focusing on good-spirited pranks.

“Prank It FWD,” which started in April of this year, has already gained tens of millions of views and managed to help an LA waitress follow her dreams during her “Best Shift Ever.”

Barefoot Wine & Bubbly sponsors the positive prankster campaign on Defy Media’s platforms. As the head of content at Defy, Barry Blumberg explained “Prank It FWD”’s revival, “This time around, we challenged ourselves to go bigger, and what better time than the holiday season to share more good and prank-filled surprises?”

The new video, “She’s Got It Maid,” focuses on Clara Simmons, a single mom/housekeeper in Cleveland, Ohio overcome by exhaustion (so much so that she wound up in the hospital). You can watch it below:

The prank campaign also extends to a partnership with DoSomething.org, an organization in support of social change, and features videos from major video creators Smosh (“Ultimate Fan Surprise,” where they surprise a fan who has Leukemia), Screen Junkies (“Marvel Super Fan Gets Epic Surprise”), and Greg Benson (“Real Life Cash Cab”)…among many others.

More pranks will come in 2015, for which Break.com is enlisting its audience. Viewers can submit stories for “Prank It FWD” on the campaign’s website or through Break’s (free) mobile app.
