Dish Network continues to add programming to its internet-based pay-TV service Sling TV. The core “Best of Live TV” channel package, which costs $20 per month, now includes A&E, History, H2, and Lifetime, thanks to an earlier deal with A+E Networks. The service has also upgraded its “Lifestyle Extra” add-on bundle to offer FYI and LMN, which join existing channels TruTV, Cooking Channel, DIY, and WE tv.

It’s not just sports: Nickelodeon plans to air the 28th annual Kids’ Choice Awards across all of its platforms, including Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, and TV Land, but also Nick.com and the Nick mobile app.

Food Network celeb Duff Goldman (“Ace of Cakes,” “Duff Till Dawn,” “Kids Baking Championship”) will launch a culinary channel on YouTube with Collective Digital Studio. The channel will include some regular series along with some prank, how-to, and baking fail videos. Collective Digital Studio has also signed Goldman to its network. The company will program the YouTube channel with Goldman and produce content for it.

Fullscreen has signed 13-year-old Vine star Toby Randall. The singing talent based in the UK has 1.2 million followers on Vine and performs (six-second) covers of songs by the likes of Rihanna and Lana Del Ray.

Who’s Moving?

As Vice Canada prepares to launch, Vice and Rogers have hired a number of executives to oversee production for the TV and digital content studio. Michael Kronish has been named EVP of television and online, responsible for all Canadian-produced content for TV, online, and mobile platforms. Other members of the team include former Red Bull Media House executive Jason Ford, who’s been hired as VP of production, former Al Jazeera executive Andrea Schmidt as an executive producer, and former CBC executive Tania Natcheff as director of factual programming. On the digital-only side, Vice Canada has promoted Patrick McGuire to head of content. He will oversee all original digital productions.
