Rev3Games to Host 25-Hour Live Stream to Raise Money for Charity
Revision3’s games channel, Rev3Games, plans to live stream a day-long gaming marathon as part of a charity gaming event that looks to raise money for various local children’s hospitals.
The charity gaming event, called Extra Life, takes place once a year, and invites gamers and gaming fans from all walks of life to play video games for a full day, stream that activity, and in doing so raise funds for a local children’s hospital of their choice.
Rev3Games’ Extra Life stream will begin at 11am ET on November 2, and will air unimpeded for the following 25 hours, with the goal of raising $10,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The marathon will feature Rev3Games personalities like Adam Sessler, Anthony Carboni, and Scott Bromley, as well as other guests from the larger Revision3 network. All of these personalities will play games like “Battlefield 4,” “Assassin’s Creed 4,” and the unreleased “XCOM: Enemy Within,” among other titles.
Revision3 says anyone who watches will be “automatically entered” into contests to win games, shirts, and other merchandise.Tags: Adam Sessler, Charity, Discovery Digital Networks, Gamers, Gaming Content, live streaming, Rev3Games, revision3, twitch, youtube
