Scripps’ ulive Welcomes Spring with Four New Shows

Scripps Networks Interactive’s lifestyle video brand, ulive, plans to launch four new original series as well as one returning favorite as part of its upcoming “ulive for Spring” programming campaign.

The focus of the campaign is to provide viewers with tips around lifestyle topics like household “life-hacking,” pregnancies, wedding planning, and outdoor activities for kids. It kicks off today with season two premiere of “Handy Ma’am,” as well as the debut of “TV Wedding” and “Emily Henderson Is Pregnant.”

“Handy Ma’am,” hosted by author and DIY blogger Janell Inez, offers life-hacks for simple household tasks. The second season will span 13 episodes.

“Emily Henderson Is Pregnant” follows the titular stylist across 32 episodes as she prepares for motherhood.

And in the six-episode “TV Wedding,” author and NY1 traffic reporter Jamie Shupak will provide viewers with various wedding-related tips as she plans her own marriage to CNN correspondent Brian Stelter.

The two remaining series, “GENeration” with HGTV’s Genevieve Gorder, and “Secrets of a Super Aunt” with Sabrina Soto, will premiere in May.

In “GENeration,” HGTV star Gorder sits down with her mother and grandmother for a series of discussions around key events of parenthood, from a child’s birth to the first trip with the kids and beyond. Nine episodes have been shot, with the release likely coming around Mother’s Day.

Meanwhile, “Secrets of a Super Aunt” will follow host Soto as she hangs out with her nieces and nephews across six episodes, which will premiere on May 1. The series will share practical, kid- and cost-friendly activities for adults.

Altogether, ulive is adding 60 new episodes of content this spring. These videos will join other original made-for-web fare produced by ulive, as well as select full-length episodes and clips from Scripps’ TV networks like Food Network, Cooking Channel, HGTV, Travel Channel, and DIY, on the lifestyle video portal.
