Second Season of ‘Larry King Now’ Debuts Today on Hulu, Other Platforms
The show comes from Ora TV, a production studio and digital content network. The first episode features an interview between King and actress Jane Lynch. Other guests scheduled to appear during the coming second season include Oprah Winfrey, Mark Wahlberg, Denzel Washington, Sharon Stone, and Julian Lennon.
Update: New episodes will be made available at 5pm ET every Monday to Thursday. The current plan is to produce 150 episodes for the second season.
Ora TV says it has expanded distribution of the show with the launch of the second season. Aside from being available on Hulu and Ora TV, the show will air on RT America Monday-Wednesday and Fridays at 9pm and 11pm EST. Internationally, the show is being distributed to TV networks like Dubai One in the Middle East and North Africa and the Israeli Broadcast Association in Israel. “Larry King Now” will also be available on TV in Canada beginning this September, says Ora TV. The distributor will announce additional international markets in the coming year.
Viewers will also be able to submit suggestions for future guests via the #BookEmLarry hashtag on Twitter and Instagram. Each month, Ora TV will reward some of those who submitted suggestions “sponsored prizes.”
“Larry King Now” was Ora TV’s first foray into original online programming when the interview series made its debut last year. Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim holds a majority interest in Ora TV through his telco, America Movil.
