Shut Up Cartoons Gives Smosh an Origin Story
Shut Up Cartoons has launched “Smosh Babies,” an animated series about the two-year-old lives of the Smosh duo. Similar to all other Shut Up Cartoons programming, 10 episodes have been planned for the show’s first season, with new episodes rolling out every Monday.
Created by Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla, the duo will also voice their younger, animated selves. Hecox and Padilla share executive producer credit with Alloy Digital executive vice president and Smosh president Barry Blumberg. Other credits include Ryan Finnerty as the show’s writer/creative producer, Cynthia Taylor as producer, and Lenora Hume and Carolyn Bates as executives in charge of production. Little Blackstone Studio is responsible for production design and animation.Tags: Alloy Digital, Anthony Padilla, Barry Blumberg, Carolyn Bates, Cynthia Taylor, Ian Hecox, Lenora Hume, Little Blackstone Studio, Ryan Finnerty, Shut Up Cartoons, smosh, Smosh Babies
