‘Sports Jeopardy’ Ready for a September Debut on Crackle
Crackle will premiere “Sports Jeopardy,” an expansion of the long-running TV quiz show, on September 24.
Hosted by Emmy Award-winning sports broadcaster Dan Patrick, the show will air as a weekly 30-minute program, pitting multiple contestants against each other to see who knows the most about the wide, wide world of sports. Crackle has ordered 52 episodes for the show’s initial run, with new episodes rolling out every Wednesday following the premiere.
More than 30,000 hopefuls registered for the show’s auditions, which were held over the summer in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas, Chicago, and New York, according to Crackle.
“Sports Jeopardy” is produced by Sony Pictures Television for Crackle, which like the producer is a Sony Pictures Entertainment company. The show was originally announced as part of Crackle’s 2014 DCNF original programming slate.Tags: Crackle, Crackle Originals, Dan Patrick, DCNF programming, Game Show, Quiz Show, Sony Pictures Television, Sports, Sports Jeopardy
