TestTube’s New Original Series Explore Obscure Sorrows, Men
Discovery Digital Networks‘ TestTube has launched three new shows exploring some rather original topics.
“Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows,” for one, explores feelings hidden in the depths of each human’s consciousness, the ones that everyone harbors but no one’s made a name for (such as the “striking realization that every person in the world has a story as unique as your own”).
Meanwhile, “What I Learned” invites viewers on virtual journeys to locations all over the world, including Wichita and the Phillipines. Jason Tongen hosts the series, seven episodes of which are currently available online.
Lastly, “Manthropology” provides tips for men. Have launched most recently, the series only has a couple of episodes out on TestTube. They cover fashion tips that “every guy should know” and how to propose “like a man” (god forbid someone receives a feminine marriage proposal). Hosted by Anthony Carboni (“your millennial man”) and Terry Schappert (“the ultimate manly man”), the series has a brand sponsorship in Kay Jewelers.
