“YouTube Nation,” a daily web series from YouTube and DreamWorks Animation that covers trending videos, topics, and creators on the world’s biggest video site, has been canceled. The final episode of the show will air on Friday, December 5.


Hulu Picks Up Final Episodes of ABC’s ‘Manhattan Love Story’

Hulu announced that it will stream the seven remaining episodes of ABC sitcom “Manhattan Love Story,” which the Alphabet net canceled last month after airing four episodes. The final eps will be available weekly on Thursdays to Hulu Plus subscribers.

Lonely Island Unveils Three Digital Projects in Development at Fox

In January, Andy Samberg and his sketch group The Lonely Island signed a digital-and-TV development deal with Fox. The “alternative” venture was created to incubate comedy projects on over-the-top platforms like Hulu and Roku with the ultimate goal of producing full-length TV series for Fox, FX, FXX, Fox International Channels, or other TV network.


Google’s New Target Audience: Kids

The search company plans to launch versions of its products like YouTube and Chrome for children 12 and under, a company executive told USA Today in an interview published Wednesday. News of the initiative was first reported by tech blog The Information in August.
