Netflix wants to be in 200 countries by the end of 2016 — so expect it to make a lot of these types of announcements in the coming months: Confirming a report from CNBC, the streaming company said it plans to launch in Japan in the fall of 2015.

By 2019, 72% of Mobile Traffic Will Be Video Content

The popularity of mobile video continues to increase, and will account for a staggering 72% of total mobile data traffic by the end of 2019, according to a new study by Cisco. As part of its annual report on the state of mobile data traffic, the I.T. giant not only confirmed that mobile video viewing was responsible for 55% of total mobile data traffic in 2014, but also predicts that mobile video will increase 13-fold between 2014 and 2019.
