Time Inc. Cooks Up Roku Channel for MyRecipes.com
Time Inc. has launched a Roku channel dedicated to its food and recipe portal MyRecipes.com.
Available for free on all current-generation Roku devices in the US, Canada, the UK, and Ireland, the channel offers more than 250 videos across 12 food- and cooking-related categories. Content is pulled in from Time Inc. lifestyle brands like Cooking Light, Food & Wine, and Southern Living, among others.
Time Inc. first announced Roku as one of its newest distribution partners in May, during the company’s first Newfront presentation to advertisers. Other new distribution partners include Scripps Networks Interactive’s ulive, Dailymotion, Net2TV’s Portico service, joining existing outlets like AOL On, Defy Media, and NDN.
