Tiny Riot Options Brooklyn-Based Digital Comedy Series
As previously announced, Tiny Riot, FremantleMedia North America’s digital content studio, handed out a development award to a couple of independent artists at this year’s New York Television Festival. We now have more information on the winning entry:
The series is titled “Oh, The Ennui.” The Brooklyn-based, scripted show centers on “two dudes” as they deal with life’s general boredom. Sutton Dewey and Mark Millner created the comedy series.
The deal with “Oh, The Ennui” creators was part of a broader presence by Tiny Riot at NYTVF. The studio also showcased its most recent episode of “Soul Food,” a new series on the food-focused digital channel Munchies. Thom Beers, FMNA’s CEO, also introduced a new Munchies show “How-To: Make Pumpkin Pizza,” which he will host.
FremantleMedia launched Munchies with Vice back in April of this year.Tags: festival development award, FremantleMedia North America, How-To, munchies, New York Television Festival, NYTVF, oh the ennui, soul food, tiny riot, Vice Media
