TRAILER: Second Season of ‘Video Game High School’
FreddieW has posted the first official trailer to the second season of “Video Game High School,” which you can watch on his YouTube channel or forego all of that clicking-related trouble and just watch below.
The second season premieres on July 25 and will be available on YouTube and Rocket Jump’s website. It will span six episodes, with each episode running between 30 to 40 minutes, according to a note under the trailer.
When the second season was announced by Collective Digital Studio, which represents FreddieW, the MCN said the total run-time for the entire season was 120 minutes. Apparently, now it might run for anywhere between 180-240 minutes.
CDS repackaged the first season of “Video Game High School,” which collected over 55 million views across nine episodes and related “behind-the-scenes” content, into a feature-length, two-hour movie on Netflix. As far as I know, CDS will look to do a similar thing for the second season. Though since each episode is now TV-length, there might not be a lot of repackaging going on before the season arrives on Netflix. But that’s another discussion for another day.
For now, enjoy the trailer.
The second season brings back all of the major cast members from the first season, including Harley Morenstein (I mention him specifically because I’m a recent Epic Meal Time convert, and yes, before you ask, I am ashamed that it took me so long). Oh, and the series follows a talented gamer who attends an elite gaming academy in a world where the real celebrities are gamers. But you probably already knew that.
Seriously, here’s the trailer:
