CDS Signs 7 Creators from YouTube, Vine, Snapchat

Collective Digital Studio just signed seven new YouTube, Vine, and Snapchat creators. From YouTube, FouseyTube (Yousef Saleh Erakat), Paint (Jon Cozart), and Whatever (Brian Kamerer) join the MCN with 4.7 million, 2.7 million, and 2.6 million subscribers, respectively. FouseyTube features comedic sketches, vlogs, parodies, and pranks, while Whatever focuses on pranks. Paint primarily makes a capella videos.

Today SlashGear broke a story about Qualcomm’s QCOM +0.71% new reference design for a streaming stick. I’ve been covering this as news for various places, and seen it appear on dozens more. Applicaster is a startup originally out of Israel which offers a number of what’s known these days as ‘synchronised social experiences’. South Korea’s LG Electronics Inc, whose appliance chief has been indicted on a charge of purposely damaging Samsung Electronics Co Ltd washing machines, issued a video clip that it says shows the executive was merely testing its rival’s products in plain view at a store in Germany.
