Netflix to Verizon: Nope, Your Congested Pipes Are Still Your Fault

Just in case you thought Netflix was backing down to Verizon earlier today, the video company has a clear message: Nope, no way — we’re still going to gripe about the telco’s pipes. It works by allowing users to stream pirated movies and TV shows without having to worry about deleting the incriminating data afterwards — Popcorn Time does all the dirty work for you. With its streaming option, intuitive Netflix-style interface, and self-tidying service, it’s no wonder Popcorn Time has taken off.

GoPro: One of the Biggest YouTube Success Stories Ever

I’ve often visited the YouTube Success Stories page looking for case studies that I could use in one of the Mini-MBA classes that I teach at Rutgers or one of the training workshops that I teach at Market Motive. And up until very recently, I’ve skipped over the success story at the top of the page entitled, “GoPro discovers a global audience.” Now, I’d watched “GoPro YouTube Case Study,” which was published April 19, 2012.

If you apply the whole “seven deadly sins” concept to the internet age, you’ll find that each sin easily locates its niche in the digital world. Greed comes in the hoards of “friends” and “followers” we seem to collect like status-furthering prizes, while pride shows its face on the home page of our Facebooks or in each of our urges to regularly self-Google.
