Miley’s Twerking Won’t Stop Driving Video Views
The VMAs are two weeks old, but the impact of Miley Cyrus’ titillating twerking session continues to be felt. An instructional clip featuring a twerking Barbie doll and a chicken (with Miley’s photo placed where the chicken’s head should be) took the top spot on Adweek’s VideoWatch video series charts (powered by VidIQ)—generating nearly 7.58 million views in a week, along with 79,000 likes and close to 45,000 Facebook shares. Great job, millennials.
