VEVO to Exclusively Stream Lady Gaga Album Release Party & Concert
Like many modern pop stars, Lady Gaga strides the line between being a “traditional” artist (physical records, tours, etc) and a digital artist. The 27-year-old singer and songwriter has a massive digital footprint with one of the most-viewed VEVO channels and a recent performance at the YouTube Music Awards that got the web stirring.
It’s no surprise then that Lady Gaga has turned to VEVO to stream her upcoming “artRave” concert and release party for her upcoming fourth studio album “ARTPOP.” The event will air this Sunday at 11:30 pm ET on VEVO’s various platforms, including iOS app, VEVO.com; and via apps on the Xbox 360 and Apple TV.
Aside from the concert, the event will also debut art projects created by Lady Gaga and artists Jeff Koons, Marina Abramovic, Inez & Vinoodh, and Robert Wilson.
“artRave” will continue to stream on VEVO for 48 hours after its initial debut. Additionally, Clear Channel will run a half-hour “Album Release Party with Lady Gaga” radio special hosted by Ryan Seacrest. The radio program will air on Clear Channel’s family on radio stations on November 11 at 9 am ET.
CW Network will also air a televised version of the release party on Tuesday, November 19 at 8-9 pm ET/PT.
The VEVO live stream will be available in the U.S, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Spain, and the U.K.
In other news, the pop star recently announced that she will partner with Virgin Galactic to stream a live performance from space in 2015. Yeap, you read correctly.Tags: apple tv, iOS app, Lady Gaga, live stream, Vevo
