WomensForum Enhances Video and Ad Capabilities via JW Player Partnership
WomensForum.com, the central hub for a community of sites dedicated to women’s lifestyle content, has added a number of new features to its WomensForumTV video channel, thanks to a partnership with video-tech provider JW Player.
With the integration, WomensForumTV now offers video playlist suggestions based on user interests and reading/viewing behavior across WomensForum.com’s network of 2,000 affiliate sites. Other viewing enhancements include content targeting by device, with users on smartphones and tablets getting a higher dose of shorter, “snackable” clips.
Similar updates have been made to WomensForumTV’s advertising capabilities. The channel now delivers ads based on viewer behavior and preferences, as well as the device they’re watching on. JW Player is also implementing frequency capping and adaptive limits on ad interruptions in an effort to prevent too many ads from playing during a single viewing session.
