YouTube Stats Site SocialBlade Gets a Facelift
If you’ve been on YouTube long enough, chances are that you have been on analytics site SocialBlade. The site, which allows users to search for channel and network statistics, was previously, well, pretty awful looking. Luckily for YouTubers worldwide, SocialBlade launched a much-needed, spiffy new website today.
In addition to a clean new interface, SocialBlade has added statistics from live gaming platform Twitch. The new Twitch stats work similarly to SocialBlade’s pre-existing YouTube metrics, ranking channels based on “followers” — Twitch’s version of subscribers. According to SocialBlade’s metrics, “League of Legends” developer Riot Games has the highest ranked channel on Twitch.
The redesigned site launched at Midnight and has since received an outpouring of positive feedback from YouTube users across the web. “This redesign was sorely needed. Great job SocialBlade,” writes one user at YouTube forum YtTalk.Tags: socialblade, twitch, youtube
