Zander Lurie to Leave Guggenheim Digital Media (Report)
Zander Lurie, EVP at Guggenheim Digital Media, is leaving the company, Deadline reports. Lurie, a veteran of the digital entertainment and former CFO of CBS Interactive, joined Guggenheim Digital in early 2013 to help expansion efforts for the division, which is owned by investment firm Guggenheim Partners.
When Guggenheim hired Levinsohn about a year ago, it said that Levinsohn would oversee expansion plans that included “significant capital to acquire and invest in new media companies and properties.” On that front, Guggenheim was most notably involved in the Great Hulu Auction of 2013, which didn’t go anywhere (much like the Great Hulu Auction of 2011).
According to Deadline, this is the second top Guggenheim Digital exec to leave in the past few months, following SVP of strategy and operations Michael Protti’s departure in November.Tags: Exec Moves, Guggenheim Digital Media, Guggenheim Partners, Hulu, Movers, ross levinsohn, Zander Lurie
