Sales Account Executive

VideoInk is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Advertising and Events Sales professional with excellent communication and project management skills to build and manage our sales department. This a new role within a fast-growing startup environment. The ideal candidate must be able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously and adhere to multiple deadlines, as well as develop client and team relationships. This Sales Executive must be innovative and creative in their approach to packaging deals across VideoInk’s various editorial, events and video offerings, and thrive in a fast-pace environment that is constantly evolving to fit the changing media landscape.

-Minimum 3 years experience in digital video & premium publishing commissioned-based advertising sales

-Experience with display, video, mobile, email, and custom content ad sales

-Demonstrate a successful track record in closing large, complex, and custom advertising sales with entertainment advertisers and key stakeholders at their agencies

-Located in New York, NY


-Key individual contributor to revenue, work against aggressive advertising revenue goals – need to hit the ground running and be a fast learner

-Research, develop and pitch media plans and promotions featured on VideoInk using consultative sales approach to develop integrated packages that leverage a variety of properties and platforms including print, digital, events, research and custom projects.

-Confident networker who showcases their passion and enthusiasm for the VideoInk brand at industry conferences & events

-Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of sales targets, contacts, and sales opportunities via cold calling and leveraging your brand connections and their AORs

-Agency category relationships a must (preferably high-level decision makers)

-Provide campaign management, optimization, reporting, recaps and lead upsell opportunities

-Respond to RFPs, collaborate with editorial on sponsorable custom content solutions, support research in development of winning case studies

-Report on revenue projections/forecasts

-Must thrive and be excited about a startup environment; Incredible business acumen with an entrepreneurial spirit to “own” your territory / business and clients

-Bachelor’s Degree
