Collective Digital Studio’s “Seven by 7” Event — Sweeter than an Industry Power Hour.
Entertainment industry execs and influencers met up at the Collective’s LA offices this past week, where the conversation and Atlantico Rum overflowed. “Seven by 7” was part networking event and part panel where speakers focused on lessons of the past seven years and how those lessons in doing good could guide attendees through the next seven years.

Of course, conversation wasn’t all heavy, all the time, because pop culture’s still fun. Common sentiments included “Great speakers tonight! Keep it up!” and “So many interesting new people! Time Warner Cable’s Upfront — A Reason for Media Execs to Party
Meanwhile on the opposite coast, Time Warner Cable’s “View from the Top” upfront took place at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s gorgeous Frederick P. Rose Hall. Attendees celebrated “Devious Maids” and “Army Wives,” while mingling with the shows’ stars and nibbling on the obligatory finger foods like mini-chocolate shakes, fruit tarts and chicken pot pies. And while the room wasn’t as jam packed as we’ve seen other presentations, especially the recent Newfronts, hit-maker Ashanti showed up in full force to back her casting in “Army Wives”’s seventh season as Latasha Montclair.
