Freddie Wong and Brandon Laatsch, the duo behind the FreddieW YouTube channel, have produced a new video spot for a digital ad campaign tied to the launch of Taco Bell’s new Fiery Doritos Locos Taco. The spot, which you can check out below, premiered today to the FreddieW channel’s 6.3+ million subscribers this afternoon. Beginning on August 25, the ad will air across ESPN.com, CBS Sports, MTV properties, and Pandora, among others. It will also be attached to episodes of the second season of “Video Game High School,” as well as other channels within the Collective Digital Studio Network.
The marketing deal was brokered by Collective Digital Studio, which represents FreddieW, and DigitasLBI, Taco Bell’s digital agency of record.
Taco Bell was one of the top sponsors for the second season of “Video Game High School,” which so far has generated more than 6 million views across three TV-length episodes (if you were looking for some sort of performance update).
