Break Media’s men’s vertical Made Man is launching the Follow Channel on YouTube in conjunction with production company Tupelo-Honey Raycom and Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh. The new channel will provide extensive look at the off-the-field lives of professional NFL and NBA players, hence the “follow” in Follow Channel.
Kicking off on October 2, 2013, the first “Follow” series will feature Seattle Seahawks all-pro cornerback Richard Sherman as the Seahawks continue to dominate the NFC West. Bosh, although a partner on the channel, will be the subject of October’s “Follow” as the Miami Heat prep for a title defense. Additional athletes will be announced down the line.
The Follow Channel deal between Bosh, Tupelo-Honey Raycom, and Break Media was brokered by CAA. Cary I. Glotzer, CEO of Tupelo-Honey Raycom and Mitch Rotter, EVP of programming at Break Media will serve as co-executive producers for the channel and its programming.
Three new episodes will be released every week on the Follow Channel as well as on the Made Man website.
