Bedrocket has named Frank Kavilanz general manager of partnerships and revenue, responsible for developing and scaling “best practices” across all Bedrocket video platforms.
Kavilanz comes to Bedrocket from NowThis News, the short-form news video provider which Bedrocket is an investor in. There, he served as the company’s SVP of strategy and business development, playing an integral role in the recent minority stake NBCUniversal made in NowThis.
Prior to that, Kavilanz worked at NBCUniversal News Group as the VP of strategy and business development for NBCNews.com, Today.com, and MSNBC.com.
Bedrocket-controlled video properties include Flama, video network created in partnership with Univision for English-speaking Hispanic Millennials Flama, as well as channels like Network A (action sports), KickTV (soccer), Official Comedy, and Look TV.
