Stretching tweets into an entire web series, VH1 has come out with “Behind the Tweet,” a show that decodes celebrities’ shortest messages.
The first six episodes of “Behind the Tweet” debut today on VH1.com, each of which runs for about two to three minutes (in the spirit of the hasty messages they discuss). The show kind of follows in the footsteps of the network’s 90s series, “Behind the Music.” Kind of.
So far, episodes focus on celebrities like Brooklyn Decker, Michelle Williams, Key & Peele, and Hannibal Buress.
Kevin Slack directs and edits the series, which Melissa Smith produces. “Behind the Tweet” is executive produced by Dan Sacher and Warren Cohen. Here’s the episode featuring Key & Peele:
