Netflix original series “Between” will debut on Thursday, May 21. Between (ha) the announcement of the show and its premiere, the streaming service released a trailer for the upcoming drama. (If you want more than just a trailer, you can read our review on it here.)
“Between” takes place in a small town that’s taken over by a “mysterious disease,” one that ends up killing everyone there who’s over the age of 21. The town, full exclusively of young people, gets quarantined and then abandoned by the government.
What makes this series unique for a Netflix original is that it won’t debut all at once. Instead, episodes will come out weekly, starting on the 21 at 8:30pm PT and airing for the next five Thursdays at that time, just like on network TV.
Each episode of “Between” runs for one hour. It stars Jennette McCurdy and was written and directed by Michael McGowan. “Between” is executive produced by McGowan, Don Carmody, David Cormican, and Naveen Prasad.
