Online video production studio Revolution Productions is expanding its global operations as it shifts its focus from startups and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Today, the company announced that it has opened new offices in Berlin and signed a list of big-name corporate clients, including Home Depot, John Deere, HealthFirst and the World Bank.
Founded in 2008 by Anish Patel, Revolution Productions started with a small team in the U.K. specializing in the production of animated marketing videos. In the years since, it has grown into a international business, with additional offices in Buenos Aires and Houston, Texas.
Revolution’s new Berlin office will house 10–20 employees, expanding as the company works to shift the bulk of its creative services to the location by Q4 2015. The move coincides with its continued efforts to grow and improve its video post-production and analytics/ROI measurement services.
Revolution is the latest addition to an increasingly vibrant digital video ecosystem in Germany. The country is also home to telecom giant ProSiebenSat.1 Media, which recently merged L.A.-based Collective Digital Studios with its Berlin-based multi-channel network Studio71, and MediaKraft, a Munich-based MCN which picked up $23 million in additional funding in July 2014 to expand its operations.
