Who says that digital advertising is still completing with old-school television? Popular television info and criticism destination TVInsider.com announced today that it is partnering with programmatic video monetization platform SpotXchange to sell ads across its catalog of behind-the-scenes and TV companion video content.
TVInsider shares its parent company TVGM with TV Guide, from which it can draw upon more than sixty years of additional content.
In a statement announcing the deal, TVInsider’s VP of marketing Alain Begun said the company would use the SpotXchange platform to fill its premium pre-roll inventory as a supplement to its direct sales efforts for both video produced in-house and content provided by partners like Newsy and Whip Clip.
