Video monetization platform Ooyala announced today that it will be bringing its ad servicing technology to Atresmedia, one of Spain’s largest broadcasters.
The addition Atresmedia to its portfolio of clients expands Ooyala’s footprint in Spain, where it currently serves 80 percent of the Spanish premium broadcaster and publisher market with ad-servicing and programmatic television services.
Founded in 2007, Ooyala was acquired by Australian telecom giant Telstra in August of 2014. Earlier that year, the company launched its Spanish private programmatic TV marketplace, Aunia. Since then, Ooyala has rapidly added partners in the region, including Castillian regional media publisher Grupo Godo, nationwide publisher Grupo Vocento, multiple regional news papers and radio stations, and one regional broadcast network.
Internationally, Ooyala’s services are utilized by some of the world’s leading media brands, including Disney, News Corp, The Times Of India, Bloomberg Television, and Telegraph Media Group.
