When futurists were first dreaming up virtual reality video, talk shows were probably not the application they envisioned. But they probably thought we’d have flying cars by now, too.
First, there was TBS’ “Conan” offering 360-degree video of visit to Comic-Con International in San Diego. Now, Fusion — the millennial-minded multi-platform media company from Disney/ABC Television and Univision — is presenting an online virtual reality installment of the talker “The Chris Gethard Show” to complement its August 6 network broadcast.
The VR episode will be available for streaming online at TheChrisGethardShow.com and on Gethard’s YouTube channel. It will be compatible with Google Cardboard devices, and those without VR headsets will be able to watch in 360 degrees on desktop and mobile devices.
“The Chris Gethard Show” is produced by Funny Or Die in conjunction with Fusion.
