Maker Studios has announced a partnership with celebrity stylist and reality television personality Rachel Zoe to create original video content for Zoe’s digital fashion and lifestyle hub, The Zoe Report. The new digital series “At Large” pairs Zoe with Maker affiliated beauty and style content creators to fashion editorial content and visual lookbooks. Episodes will be housed on The Zoe Report YouTube channel. Creators such as Maya Washington (600K subscribers) Teni Panosian (800K subscribers) and Rachel Nguyen (23K subscribers) will be among the digital influencers participating in fashion and style challenges assigned by Zoe and her editorial team.
Filmed in conjunction with New York Fashion Week, episodes will also provide a documentary-style look behind the scenes at the fashion event. The series will highlight trends, capture street style, and provide a guide to the world of high fashion from open runaways to private shows, all presented through Rachel Zoe’s editorial eye. The partnership with The Zoe Report is Maker’s latest collaboration with mainstream talent, a trend that is likely to accelerate as the Disney-owned MCN continues its integration with the media conglomerate. Maker talent was recently paired up with some of Disney’s prized “Star Wars” IP for an unboxing initiative meant to move product in advance of the film’s December release. Another recently-launched collaboration paired Maker’s digital content and influencer acumen with Disney’s XD network to incubate new crossover talent.
