CAA will work to create opportunities from What’s Up Moms in digital and mainstream venues, including business development, licensing, television, personal appearances, publishing and endorsements.
The deal comes as What’s Up Moms is preparing to grow and scale their media operation. The group has hired hired digital media strategist Liane Mullin to serve as president & COO. Prior to joining What’s Up Moms, Mullin led the digital department at Los Angeles-based Full Picture where she developed branded content for AOL, Yahoo, MSN and YouTube and managed digital partnerships for L’Oreal, Samsung, JetBlue and Motts.
What’s Up Moms is the latest in a string of signings adding high profile online video artists to CAA’s growing digital roster. In the last year. the tenpercentery has signed big names such as Bart Baker, Jenna Marbles, Timothy DeLaGhetto, Jc Caylen and Kian Lawley. William Morris Endeavor has also been active in the digital space, favoring creative shops and studios such as Defy Media, Rocket Jump and Jukin Media which have larger catalogs of content.
