Thinkfactory Media and Complex Networks have teamed up on a new faith-based reality docu-series called “#PREACHED”, which will premiere exclusively on Verizon’s go90 on February 27th. As part of its investment in Complex Networks and its channels — RatedRed and Seriously, Verizon has a first-look deal with the media company. The series follows the “young, dynamic and unconventional Christian Pastor Matt Chewning” as he tries to reach youth and bring them to the beliefs of the God-fearing community.
“I realize the show is called #PREACHED, but in my experience I’ve made most of my connections by first listening. That’s the heart behind the show — I love meeting with people to learn about their beliefs, understand their questions, and sympathize with their hurts. Some people may call that unconventional, but I think it should be the norm,” said Chewning on the direction of the series.
To get the project done, Complex enlisted television production company Thinkfactory Media, which has produced series reaching Middle America for major networks including History, CMT and WEtv.
