Endemol Shine Beyond is still finding its way as a digital production arm for global studio Endemol Shine. After a recent shift away from network and owned and operated properties, which included downsizing the branded entertainment and ad sales team, Beyond has committed to developing formats for the many deep-pocketed digital publishers today.
Today the company announced development deals with additional creatives in the music and entertainment industries. In March, VideoInk detailed that the digital studio had already locked deals with Dave Meyers, duo Lauren Selig and Peter Martin, and music video production designer Alexander Delgado.
Joining Beyond’s development slate include Oliver Trevena (“Young Hollywood”, “JoyRide”), Kyle Newman (Taylor Swift’s “Style,” Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness”) and Michael Parenteau (“The Search for Freedom”).
While the team has not detailed specific titles outside of prior-announced series with Alexander Delgado, Dave Meyers and Lauren Selig and Peter Martin, the plan is to continue developing scripted and non-scripted formats specifically in music, docu-series and VR.
“It’s an age of enlightenment in content creation as we continue to forge new storytelling ground across multiple platforms,” said Endemol Shine Beyond USA President Bonnie Pan. “The rules are being broken and with no boundaries, creativity is soaring. Our development slate exemplifies original new content from a range of talented directors, producers and creators focused creating the stories they have always dreamed of.”
