Streaming services have come a long way in a short amount of time, but consumers are still unsatisfied with these three things.
Last year was a struggle for many up-and-coming streaming services. Even those backed by major companies such as NBCUniversal and Otter Media had a hard time finding footing in the saturated market. NBCUniversal shut down its comedy focused streaming service Seeso; Otter Media -- a joint venture between AT&T and the Chernin Group -- announced plans to shut down its streaming service Fullscreen; and the future of Comcast's Watchable is still up in the air.
